Giving to the Klein Foundation

“Listen, listen well to the tale of what they have seen, what they have gone through. For you are the new spring in the forest of the world.” – Gerda Weissmann Klein

In recognition of the many opportunities the United States has made possible for Gerda, and in honor of the many other survivors of the Holocaust who also found freedom in this country following that dark chapter in history, Gerda has requested that donations in her honor be made to one of the two following organizations:

Citizenship Counts, a non-profit organization Gerda established in 2008 to promote patriotism and to teach students nationwide about the contributions that immigrants have made to this country; or

Self-Help Community Services, a non-profit agency established in 1936 to assist immigrants fleeing Europe, and which today provides vital services to elderly and indigent Holocaust survivors
